This year we celebrated Thanksgiving Day in Hope with the extended Montgomery family and had a great time! We enjoyed the usual holiday spread, including both roast and fried turkey, green bean casserole, sweet potatoes, olives and more, and even a little vegetarian lasagna to ensure everyone had a happy Thanksgiving. Nathan enjoyed himself - almost as much as he enjoyed the green bean casserole. The weekend after Thanksgiving we decorated our home for Christmas and had a post-Thanksgiving dinner with Grammy and Poppy at our house - complete with Jonathan's favorite stuffing, which he appreciated very much. It was a wonderful way to kick off the holiday season and we can't wait 'til Christmas!
PS - For those of you curious as to what I've been thankful for this year, click here for a column I dedicated completely to that a few weeks ago. I'd imagine you guys could take a pretty good guess as to what that topic may be.
